TRIATHLON-DX-CONTEST RULES

 

1. Objective

A triathlon is a multi-sport event involving the completion of three continuous and sequential endurance events. The word "triathlon" is from Greek origin of trei (three) and of athlos (contest). While many triathlon variations of the sport exist, triathlon, in its ham form, involves the three most popular modes RTTY, SSB and CW. Triathletes compete for the biggest score in its Amateur Radio variation. Amateurs around the world will try to contact other amateurs in as many countries as possible, as many Greeks amateurs as possible and finally try to get the title of the winner. Everyone works everyone.

2. Bands

Five bands only: 3.5, 7, 14, 21 and 28 MHz according IARU band plan.

3. Date

From 00:00 UTC until 23:59 UTC of Saturday, the 1st full weekend of February, every year. This year at 2-3 of February 2013.

4. Modes

CW– SSB– RTTY as follows: from 00:00-07:59 UTC only CW, from 08:00-15:59 UTC only SSB, and from 16:00-23:59 UTC only RTTY.

5. Categories

• SOABAM Single Operator-All Bands-All Modes.
• SOABRTTY Single Operator-All Bands- only RTTY
• SOABSSB Single Operator-All Bands- only SSB
• SOABCW Single Operator-All Bands- only CW
• Team Triathlon (A team consists of any three radio amateurs. Everyone must operate only one of the three modes. A person may be on only one team. Competing on a team will not prevent any team member from submitting his/her personal score for a single mode entry. A list of a team's members must be received by the contest manager by the time the contest begins. Email your Team at dxtriathlon@gmail.com). 

Only one transmitter may be used and it may make a maximum of 8 band changes in any clock hour (run transmitter).

Exception: 

One and only one second transmitter may be used—if and only if—the station worked is a new multiplier (multiplier transmitter). The multiplier transmitter may also make a maximum of 8 band changes in any clock hour. The run and multiplier transmitters are governed by independent 8-band-change rules. A clock hour runs from 00 through 59 minutes. The multiplier station cannot call CQ (solicit contacts). The run transmitter or multiplier transmitter for each QSO, must be indicated in the log.

If a log contains QSOs in more than one mode it will be judged as an SOABAM entry, unless otherwise specified.

6. Exchanges

All Stations (including Greek) send RST + Serial number. Remember that Everyone works everyone.

7. Points

• 1 point for contacts between stations on the same country
• 2 points for contacts between stations on the same continent but different
• countries
• 3 points for contacts between stations on different continents
• 3 additional points for every contact with a Greek station (for example SV-SV=4 points, DL-SV=5 points, JA-SV=6 points). That is Greeks give 4 points for other Greeks, 5 points for Europeans and 6 points for stations from other Continents. As Greeks count every station transmits from Greece (DXCC entities: SV, SV5, SV9, SV/A) 
• Dupes QSOs count only once. No penalties for Dupes.

8. Multipliers

Two types of multipliers will be used:

1. 1. A multiplier of one (1) for each different DXCC entity contacted per Band and Mode and
   2. A multiplier of one (1) for each Greek station contacted regardless of Band and Mode. Everyone who transmits from Greece (either SV, SV5, SV9 or SV/A) counts for Greek. Every worked Greek DXCC entity also counts as multiplier (that means the first qso with SV, SV5, SV9 and SV/A is a double multiplier the first time you work it).

9. Scoring
The final score is the result of the total QSO points multiplied by the sum of multipliers. 

That is:

                      (total QSOs with amateurs in same continent x 2) +

                      (total QSOs with amateurs in other continent x 3) +

                      (total QSOs with amateurs from Greece x 4 or 5 or 6) ]

Example: Let’s say a DL station (from Europe) made during the entire contest, 100 qsos with Europe (0 with Germany), 50 qsos with other continents, 10 qsos with SV hams. His points will be [(100x2)+(50x3)+(10x5)]=[200+150+50]=400 points. The same station worked 20 dxcc entities on RTTY (10 entities on 20m and 10 on 40m), 15 entities on CW (all on 80m), 10 entities on SSB (all on 15m) and 5 different SV stations during the contest. His multipliers will be: 20+15+10+5=50. So his final score will be 400x50=20000.

10. Awards

• Certificate and plaque plus a special gift to the winner of Triathlon in the World.
• Certificate to the winner of Triathlon in every continent.
• Certificate to the winner of RTTY in every continent.
• Certificate to the winner of SSB in every continent.
• Certificate to the winner of CW in every continent.
• Certificate to every member at the winner team of Triathlon in the World.
• Certificate for the first station in Triathlon in any DXCC entity and in each call area of the United States, Canada and Japan (we should receive at least 3 logs and the first one should have more than 100 qsos to qualify).
• Certificate to the first SWL in world.
• Certificate and plaque to the first Greek station in Triathlon.
• Certificate to the first Greek station in every mode.

Contest Committee reserves the right to award more entries.

11. Logs

1. 1. Submit your Log in the Cabrillo file format to the email dxtriathlon@gmail.com until the end of February in the same year. Be sure to put the STATION CALL SIGN in the “Subject:” line of each message.
   2. Cabrillo head must be TRIATHLON-DX-CONTEST. 
   3. By submitting a log to the Triathlon DX Contest, the entrant agrees to have the log open to the public. If possible, we would appreciate complete frequencies in the log.
   4. SWL logs are also accepted either in Cabrillo either in ASCII. If these are in ASCII should contain date, time (in UTC), band and both stations heard. You should send also a summary sheet with the score, your name and address and your email.
   5. Every received log will be confirmed by email.
   6. All times must be in UTC.
   7. Electronic submission implies a signed declaration that all contest rules and regulations for amateur radio in the country of operation have been observed.

12. General Rules

1. 1. The entrant agrees that the Triathlon DX Contest Committee reserves the right to reject any entry for non-compliance with the rules.
   2. Taking credit for excessive unverifiable QSOs or unverifiable multipliers may result in disqualification at the discretion of the Triathlon DX Contest Committee.
   3. Every participant accepts committee’s decisions as final and confirms that he has operated according his license rules. He accepts also that Committee can public his log if it is needed.
   4. Remote receivers and transmitters are allowed if the remote receiver and remote transceiver are in the same DXCC entity and are not more than 150 Km far one from the other. The remote receiver must be used exclusively by only one operator.
   5. Any public QSO alerting assistance is allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, DX Cluster-type networks, local or remote Skimmer and/or Skimmer-like technology and reverse beacon network.
   6. You can not exceed the power which is allowed by your license. We count the power at the output of the active amplifier.
   7. It is not allowed to spot in the clusters yourself or to ask from others to spot you. This is a good reason for disqualification.
   8. Only a signal at a time is allowed.
   9. Every disqualified station will not be eligible for an award for a number of years. The Committee will announce the penalty for every disqualified station separately depended of the reason he was disqualified.

TRIATHLON-DX-CONTEST

 

1. Finalità

Il triathlon, dal Greco τρεις (tre) e αθλος (gara), è un evento sportivo multiplo che prevede l’effettuazione di tre prove di resistenza continue e sequenziali. In ambito sportivo vi sono diverse variazioni di questa disciplina, nella versione “ham” invece si intende l’impiego dei tre modi di emissione più popolari quali RTTY, SSB e CW. Il punteggio più alto si ottiene collegando il maggior numero di radioamatori nel mondo e di radioamatori greci. Tutti possono collegare tutti.

2. Band e

Solo cinque bande: 3.5, 7, 14, 21 e 28 MHz secondo lo IARU band plan.

3. Periodo

Dalle ore 00:00 UTC alle 23:59 UTC di sabato del primo week-end completo di febbraio di ogni anno. Quest’anno, il 1 febbraio 2014.

4. Mod i

CW- SSB – RTTY, con orario 00:00-07:59 UTC per la sola CW, 08:00-15:59 UTC per l’SSB e 16:00-23:59 UTC per il RTTY.

5. Categorie

• SOABAM Singolo Operatore tutte le bande tutti i modi
• SOABRTTY Singolo Operatore tutte le bande solo RTTY
• SOABSSB Singolo Operatore tutte le bande solo SSB
• SOABCW Singolo Operatore tutte le bande solo CW
• Team Triathlon Il team è costituito da tre radioamatori, dove ciascuno può operare soltanto uno dei tre modi. Ogni operatore può far parte solo di un team ma ciò non gli impedisce di partecipare alla categoria dei singoli operatori. La lista dei membri del Team deve essere inviata al contest manager prima dell’inizio del contest via email a dxtriathlon@gmail.com .

Solo un singolo trasmettitore può essere impiegato e sono consentiti un massimo di 8 cambi di banda ogni ora (run transmitter).

Eccezione:
Soltanto un altro trasmettitore può essere utilizzato se e soltanto se la stazione lavorata è un nuovo moltiplicatore (multiplier transmitter). Il multiplier transmitter può effettuare un massimo di 8 cambi di banda in ogni ora. Il run ed il multiplier sottostanno in modo indipendente alla regola degli 8 cambi di banda in ogni ora. L’ora si intende da 00 a 59 minuti. La stazione multiplier non può chiamare CQ. Nel log devono essere indicati sia i QSO effettuati dal run, sia quelli effettuati dal multiplier.
Se il Log contiene QSO in più di un modo, sarà considerato come SOABAM, se non diversamente specificato.

6. Rapporti

Ogni stazione (anche quelle greche) invia RST + numero progressivo. Ricordate che tutti possono lavorare tutti.

7. Punti

• 1 punto per ogni QSO fra stazioni del proprio paese
• 2 punti per ogni QSO fra stazioni dello stesso continente ma differente paese
• 3 punti per ogni QSO fra stazioni di differente continente
• 3 punti ulteriori per ogni QSO con stazioni greche (ad es. SV-SV=4 punti, DL-SV=5 punti, JA-SV=6 punti), ossia I greci danno 4 punti ad altri greci, 5 punti agli europei e 6 punti a stazioni in altri continenti. Per stazione greca si intende ogni stazione che trasmette dalla Grecia (paesi DXCC: SV, SV5, SV9, SV/A).
• QSO doppi vengono contanti una sola volta. Non ci sono penalità per collegamenti doppi.

8. M oltiplicatori

Esistono due tipi di moltiplicatori:
1. Nr. 1 (uno) moltiplicatore per ogni differente paese DXCC collegato per banda e per modo e
2. Nr. 1 (uno) moltiplicatore per ogni stazione greca collegata a prescindere dalla banda e dal modo. Stazioni operanti dalla Grecia (sia SV, SV5, SV9 o SV/A) contano come Grecia. Ogni paese DXCC greco lavorato conta anche come moltiplicatore (ciò significa che il primo qso con SV, SV5, SV9 e SV/A conta come moltiplicatore doppio la prima volta).

9. Punteggio finale

Il punteggio finale è dato dal totale dei punti QSO moltiplicato per la somma dei moltiplicatori, ossia:

E sempio: una stazione DL (Europa) durante l’intero contest effettua 100 QSO con l’Europa (0 con la
Germania), 50 QSO con altri continenti, 10 QSO con stazioni SV. Il suo punteggio sarà [(100x2)+(50x3)+(10x5)]=[200+150+50]=400 punti. La stessa stazione durante il contest lavora 20 paesi DXCC in RTTY (10 paesi in 20m e 10 in 40m), 15 paesi in CW (tutti in 80m), 10 paesi in SSB (tutti in 15m) e 5 differenti stazioni SV. I suoi moltiplicatori saranno: 20+15+10+5=50, quindi il suo punteggio finale sarà 400x50=20000.

10. Premi

• Diploma e targa più premio speciale al primo classificato mondiale Triathlon.
• Diploma al primo classificato Triathlon in ogni continente.
• Diploma al primo classificato RTTY in ogni continente.
• Diploma al primo classificato SSB in ogni continente.
• Diploma al primo classificato CW in ogni continente.• Diploma per ogni membro del Team Triathlon primo classificato mondiale.
• Diploma al primo classificato Triathlon per ogni paese DXCC e per ogni call area degli Stati Uniti, Canada e Giappone (i log ricevuti dovranno essere almeno 3 ed il primo classificato deve avere effettuato più di 100 QSO per qualificarsi).
• Diploma al primo classificato mondiale SWL.
• Diploma e targa al primo classificato Triathlon in Grecia.
• Diploma per il primo classificato in Grecia in ogni modo.
Il Contest Committee si riserva il diritto di assegnare ulteriori riconoscimenti.

11. Logs

1. Il log, in formato Cabrillo, deve essere inviato al dxtriathlon@gmail.com entro la fine di febbraio dello stesso anno. Accertatevi di inserire IL CALL DELLA STAZIONE nell’Oggetto di ogni messaggio.
L’intestazione del file Cabrillo deve essere TRIATHLON-DX-CONTEST.
2. Inviando il proprio Log al Triathlon DX Contest, il partecipante acconsente alla sua pubblicazione. Qualora possibile, è apprezzata l’indicazione completa della frequenza nel Log.
3. I Log SWL sono accettati nel formato sia Cabrillo che ASCII; se in ASCII, dovranno contenere data, ora (in UTC), banda ed entrambe le stazioni ascoltate. È necessario inoltre inviare anche una foglio riassuntivo con il proprio punteggio, nome, indirizzo ed email.
4. La ricezione del log verrà confermata tramite invio di e-mail.
5. L’orario dei QSO deve essere in UTC.
6. L’invio elettronico sottintende la dichiarazione firmata del rispetto del regolamento del contest e della normativa vigente nel paese in cui si opera.

12. Norme Generali

1. Il partecipante accetta che il Comitato Triathlon DX Contest si riserva il diritto di rifiutare eventuali partecipanti causa mancato rispetto delle norme.
2. A discrezione del Triathlon DX Contest Committee, il punteggio derivante da un numero eccessivo di QSO o moltiplicatori non verificabili può comportare la squalifica.
3. Ogni partecipante accetta le decisioni del Committe come definitive e conferma di aver operato secondo la normativa prevista dalla propria licenza. Egli accetta inoltre che, qualora necessario, il Committee possa rendere pubblico il suo Log.
4. Ricevitori e trasmettitori remoti sono consentiti se entrambi collocati nello stesso paese DXCC e non sono a più di 150 Km l'uno dall'altro. Il ricevitore remoto deve essere utilizzato esclusivamente da un solo operatore.
5. È consentito l’uso di spot; ciò comprende, senza costituirne limite, le reti DX Cluster, skimmer locale o remoto e/o tecnologia tipo Skimmer e riverse beacon network.
6. Non è consentito superare il limite di potenza permesso dalla propria licenza. La potenza è misurata in output dell’amplificatore utilizzato.
7. Non è consentito autospottarsi sul cluster o chiedere ad altri di farlo, pena la squalifica.
8. È consentita l’emissione di un solo segnale per volta.
9. La stazione squalificata non potrà beneficiare dei premi per un certo numero di anni. Il Committee renderà nota la penalità per ogni stazione squalificata in modo distinto, a seconda del motivo che ne ha causato la squalifica.

ΤΡΙΑΘΛΟΝ-DX-CONTEST 

 

1. ΣΚΟΠΟΣ

Το Τρίαθλον είναι ένα άθλημα που εμπεριέχει τρία συνεχή και διαδοχικά αγωνίσματα αντοχής. Η λέξη "Τρίαθλον" είναι Ελληνική και αποτελεί σύνθεση των λέξεων "τρία" και "άθλος". Υπάρχουν πολλές εκδόσεις Τρίαθλου στον αθλητισμό. Στη ραδιοερασιτεχνική του μορφή το "Τρίαθλον" περιέχει την εμπλοκή των τριών δημοφιλέστερων modes: RTTY, SSB και CW. Οι Ραδιοερασιτέχνες Τριαθλητές συναγωνίζονται για το μεγαλύτερο σκορ. προσπαθώντας να επικοινωνήσουν με άλλους ραδιοερασιτέχνες, ευρισκόμενους σε όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερες ραδιοχώρες και παράλληλα με όσους το δυνατόν περισσότερους Έλληνες. Σ' αυτό το διαγωνισμό όλοι δουλεύουν όλους.

2. ΜΠΑΝΤΕΣ

Μόνο οι πέντε ακόλουθες μπάντες επιτρέπονται: 3,5, 7, 14, 21 και 28 MHz σύμφωνα με το band plan της IARU.

3. ΗΜΕΡΟΜΗΝΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΩΡΑ

Από τις 00:00 UTC ως τις 23:59 UTC του Σαββάτου, το  1ο πλήρες Σαββατοκύριακο του Φλεβάρη, κάθε χρονιά. Φέτος στις 2-3 Φλεβάρη 2013.

4. Modes

CW– SSB – RTTYως ακολούθως: από 00:00 ως 07:59 UTC (2-10πμ ώρα Ελλάδας) μόνο CW, από 08:00 ως 15:59 UTC (10πμ-6μμ ώρα Ελλάδας) μόνο SSB, και από 16:00 ως 23:59 UTC (6μμ του Σαββάτου - 2πμ ξημερώματα Κυριακής ώρα Ελλάδας) μόνο RTTY.

5. ΚΑΤΗΓΟΡΙΕΣ

• SOABAM Ένας χειριστής - Όλες οι μπάντες - όλα τα Modes.
• SOABRTTY Ένας χειριστής - Όλες οι μπάντες - μόνο RTTY
• SOABSSB Ένας χειριστής - Όλες οι μπάντες - μόνο SSB
• SOABCW Ένας χειριστής - Όλες οι μπάντες - μόνο CW
• ΟΜΑΔΙΚΟ ΤΡΙΑΘΛΟΝ: Μια ομάδα αποτελείται από 3 ραδιοερασιτέχνες από τους οποίους ο καθένας δουλεύει μόνο ένα mode. Κάθε άτομο μπορεί να ανήκει μόνο σε μία ομάδα. Η συμμετοχή σε κάποια ομάδα δεν εμποδίζει το διαγωνιζόμενο να υποβάλλει το log του σ' ένα μόνο mode. Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι πρέπει να υποβάλλουν μια λίστα των μελών και του ονόματος της ομάδας στο διευθυντή του διαγωνισμού, πριν αρχίσει ο διαγωνισμός, στο Email  dxtriathlon@gmail.com). 

Μόνο ένας πομποδέκτης μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί και ο χειριστής επιτρέπεται να κάνει μέχρι 8 αλλαγές μπάντας σε κάθε ωρολογιακή ώρα.

Εξαίρεση: 

Μόνο και μόνο ένας δεύτερος πομποδέκτης μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί σε μια διαφορετική μπάντα, μόνο και μόνο αν ο σταθμός που θα δουλευτεί είναι πολλαπλασιαστής. Ο πομπός multiplier μπορεί επίσης να κάνει μέχρι  8 αλλαγές μπάντας σε κάθε ωρολογιακή ώρα. Οι 2 πομποδέκτες μπορούν να κάνουν από 8 αλλαγές μπάντας ο καθένας. Μια ωρολογιακή ώρα μετράει από το 00 λεπτό έως το 59 λεπτό. Ο σταθμός multiplier δεν επιτρέπεται να καλεί CQ. Πρέπει να φαίνεται στο log, ποιος πομποδέκτης έκανε το κάθε QSO.

Αν ένα log περιέχει QSO σε περισσότερα από ένα mode θα κριθεί ως συμμετοχή στην κατηγορία SOABAM, εκτός κι αν ορίζεται διαφορετικά.

6. ΑΝΤΑΛΛΑΓΗ

Όλοι οι σταθμοί (συμπεριλαβανομένων των Ελλήνων) δίνουν RST + Σειριακό αριθμό. Θυμηθείτε ότι ο καθένας μπορεί να δουλέψει τον οποιονδήποτε.

7. ΠΟΝΤΟΙ

• 1 πόντος για επαφές μεταξύ σταθμών στην ίδια χώρα
• 2 πόντοι για επαφές μεταξύ σταθμών στην ίδια ήπειρο αλλά σε διαφορετικές ραδιοχώρες
• 3 πόντοι για επαφές μεταξύ σταθμών σε διαφορετικές Ηπείρους
• 3 επιπρόσθετοι πόντοι για κάθε επαφή με Ελληνικό σταθμό (πχ. SV-SV=4 πόντοι, DL-SV=5 πόντοι, JA-SV=6 πόντοι). Αυτό σημαίνει ότι οι Έλληνες δίνουν 4 πόντους σε άλλους Έλληνες, 5 πόντους σε κάθε Ευρωπαίο και 6 πόντους στους σταθμούς εκτός Ευρώπης. Ως Έλληνας μετράει οποιοσδήποτε εκπέμπει είτε από την κυρίως Ελλάδα (SV), είτε από τα Δωδεκάνησα (SV5), είτε από την Κρήτη (SV9), είτε από το Άγιο Όρος (SV/A). 
• Τα διπλά QSO μετράνε μόνο μια φορά και δεν επιφέρουν κάποια τιμωρία.

8. ΠΟΛΛΑΠΛΑΣΙΑΣΤΕΣ

Υπάρχουν 2 τύποι πολλαπλασιαστών:

1. 1. Ένας πολλαπλασιαστής για κάθε διαφορετική DXCC ραδιοχώρα σε κάθε μπάντα και κάθε Mode
   2. Ένας πολλαπλασιαστής για κάθε QSO με Ελληνικό σταθμό ανεξαρτήτως από τη μπάντα και το Mode. Καθένας που ακπέμπει από την Ελλάδα (είτε SV, SV5, SV9 ή SV/A) μετράει ως Ελληνικός σταθμός. Επίσης μετράει ως πολλαπλασιαστής κάθε Ελληνική DXCC ραδιοχώρα (δηλαδή το πρώτο qso με SV, SV5, SV9 και SV/A είναι διπλός πολλαπλασιαστής την πρώτη φορά).

9. ΣΚΟΡ

Το τελικό σκορ είναι το γινόμενο των συνολικών πόντων με το άθροισμα των πολλαπλασιαστών. 

Αναλυτικότερα:

Τελικό Σκορ = [ (σύνολο QSO με ραδιοερασιτέχνες στη χώρα σου x 1) +

                      (σύνολο QSO με ραδιοερασιτέχνες στη ίδια ήπειρο x 2) +

Παράδειγμα:

Ας πούμε ότι ένας Γερμανικός σταθμός (DL) έκανε σε όλο το διαγωνισμό, 100 qso με Ευρώπη (0 με Γερμανία), 50 qso με άλλες ηπείρους, 10 qso με Έλληνες. Οι πόντοι του θα είναι [(100x2)+(50x3)+(10x5)]=[200+150+50]=400 πόντοι. ο ίδιος σταθμός έκανε 20 ραδιοχώρες στο RTTY (10 στα 20m και 10 στα 40m), 15 ραδιοχώρες στο CW (όλες στα 80m), 10 ραδιοχώρες στο SSB (όλες στα 15m) και 5 διαφορετικούς Ελληνικούς σταθμούς. 10. ΒΡΑΒΕΙΑ

• Βραβείο και πλακέτα συν ένα σπέσιαλ δώρο στο νικητή του Τριάθλου στον κόσμο.
• Βραβείο στον πρώτο Τριαθλητή σε κάθε ήπειρο
• Βραβείο στο νικητή του RTTY σε κάθε ήπειρο.
• Βραβείο στο νικητή του SSB σε κάθε ήπειρο.
• Βραβείο στο νικητή του CW σε κάθε ήπειρο.
• Βραβείο σε όλα τα μέλη της ομάδας που θα νικήσει στο Ομαδικό Τρίαθλο στον κόσμο.
• Βραβείο στον πρώτο σε κάθε DXCC ραδιοχώρα και σε κάθε περιοχή των ΗΠΑ, του Καναδά και της Ιαπωνίας (με την προϋπόθεση ότι θα λάβουμε τουλάχιστον 3 logs και ο πρώτος θα έχει περισσότερα από 100 qso).
• Βραβείο στον πρώτο, στον κόσμο, ακροατή (SWL).
• Βραβείο και πλακέατα στον πρώτο Ελληνικό Σταθμό στο Τρίαθλον.
• Βραβείο στον πρώτο Ελληνικό σταθμό σε κάθε mode.

Η Επιτροπή του Διαγωνισμού διατηρεί το δικαίωμα να βραβεύσει περισσότερες συμμετοχές αν το κρίνει απαραίτητο.

11. Logs

1. 1. Υποβάλλετε το Log σας σε αρχείο τύπου Cabrillo στο email dxtriathlon@gmail.com ως το τέλος του Φεβρουαρίου της ίδιας χρονιάς με το διαγωνισμό. Σιγουρευτείτε ότι στο θέμα θα γράψετε το ΔΙΑΚΡΙΤΙΚΟ με το οποίο συμμετείχατε στο διαγωνισμό.
   2. Η επικεφαλίδα στο αρχείο Cabrillo πρέπει να είναι TRIATHLON-DX-CONTEST. 
   3. Υποβάλλοντας το log σας στο Διαγωνισμό Τρίαθλον, συμφωνείτε ότι το Log σας μπορεί να είναι ανοικτό στο κοινό και να δημοσιευτεί. Αν είναι δυνατόν, θα προτιμούσαμε να περιέχεται στο log σας και η συχνότητα που έγινε το qso.
   4. Τα log των ακοροατών επίσης πρέπει να είναι είτε σε μορφή Cabrillo είτε σε ASCII. Αυτά που είναι σε ASCII πρέπει να περιέχουν ημερομηνία, ώρα (σε UTC), μπάντα και τα διακριτικά των δυο σταθμών που ακούστηκαν. Στείλτε επίσης το σκορ σας, το όνομά σας, τη διεύθυνσή σας και το email σας.
   5. Θα επιβεβαιώσουμε με email που θα σας στείλουμε ότι λάβαμε το log σας.
   6. Όλες οι ώρες πρέπει να είναι σε UTC.
   7. Η ηλεκτρονική υποβολή του log, σημαίνει την αποδοχή και τήρηση των κανόνων του διαγωνισμού, και των νόμων και κανονισμών του ραδιοερασιτεχνισμού στη χώρα απ' όπου χειρίζει ο καθένας.

12. ΓΕΝΙΚΟΙ ΚΑΝΟΝΕΣ

1. 1. Κάθε συμμετέχοντας συμφωνεί ότι η Επιτροπή του διαγωνισμού έχει το δικαίωμα να απορρίψει οποιαδήποτε συμμετοχή που νομίζει ότι δεν είναι σύμφωνη με τους κανόνες.
   2. Εάν κάποιος έχει στο log του πολλά QSO ή πολλαπλασιαστές που δε μπορούν να επαληθευθούν, η Επιτροπή μπορεί να τον αποβάλλει.
   3. Κάθε συμμετέχοντας συμφωνεί ότι δέχεται τις αποφάσεις της Επιτροπής ως τελικές και βεβαιώνει ότι τηρεί τους κανόνες της ραδιοερασιτεχνικής αδείας του. Επίσης αποδέχεται ότι η Επιτροπή μπορεί να δημοσιεύσει το log του, αν χρειαστεί.
   4. Δέκτες και πομποί τηλεχεριζόμενοι ΕΠΙΤΡΕΠΟΝΤΑΙ, με την προϋπόθεση ότι πομπός και δέκτης είναι στην ίδια ραδιοχώρα και όχι μακρύτερα από 150 χιλιόμετρα ο ένας από τον άλλον. Ο τηλεχειριζόμενος δέκτης πρέπει να χρησιμποιείται αποκλειστικά από έναν και μόνο χειριστή.
   5. Οποιαδήποτε βοήθεια επισήμανσης συχνότητας σχετικά με το πού είναι κάποιος σταθμός, ΕΠΙΤΡΕΠΕΤΑΙ. Περιλαμβάνονται, χωρίς να περιορίζονται σ' αυτά: DX Clusters, τοπικά ή απομακρυσμένα Skimmer ή παρόμοια τεχνολογία, καθώς και το δίκτυο reverse beacon.
   6. Απαγορεύεται η υπέρβαση της ισχύος που ορίζει η άδεια του καθενός. Η ισχύς μετριέται στην έξοδο του ενισχυτή.
   7. Απαγορεύεται αυστηρά να σποτάρει κάποιος τον εαυτό του στα clusters ή να λέει στους φίλους του να τον σποτάρουν. Τέτοια συμπεριφορά είναι απαράδεκτη και θα θεωρηθεί καλός λόγος για αποβολή από το διαγωνισμό.
   8. Μόνο ένα σήμα του κάθε διακρτικού επιτρέπεται να είναι στον αέρα κάθε στιγμή.
   9. Κάθε σταθμός που θα αποβληθεί από το διαγωνισμό, εννοείται ότι δε θα μπορεί να διεκδικήσει κάποιο βραβείο. Η Επιτροπή θα ανακοινώσει περαιτέρω τιμωρία και για περισσότερα χρόνια, ανάλογα με το λόγο για τον οποίο κάποιος τιμωρήθηκε.
